GigTaxMath

Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy covers gigtaxmath.com, run by Quyen Bui. “I” and “me” below mean Quyen Bui.

The short version

GigTaxMath has no accounts, no sign-up and no forms that send information to a server. The numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your browser and are never sent to me or to anyone else.

GigTaxMath does not set any cookies of its own and does not use analytics or advertising services.

What you type into the calculators

The calculators run entirely in your browser as JavaScript. Your earnings, miles, expenses and other inputs are kept only in the page's memory while you use it. They are not sent over the network, not saved in your browser's storage, and are gone when you close or reload the page.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks and abuse, Cloudflare processes standard technical data about each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies, for example to tell people apart from automated bots. See Cloudflare's cookie policy. I can see overall traffic statistics from Cloudflare, such as the number of requests, and I do not use them to identify individual visitors.

If you email me

If you write to hello@gigtaxmath.com, I receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. The address uses Cloudflare Email Routing, which forwards messages to my personal mailbox. I use your message only to reply and to fix problems you report. I do not sell or share it, and I do not add you to any mailing list. You can ask me to delete our correspondence at any time.

Children

GigTaxMath is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has sent me personal information, email me and I will delete it.

Changes to this policy

I will update this page whenever the site changes what it collects, for example before adding analytics or advertising. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
