These terms apply to gigtaxmath.com, run by Quyen Bui. “I” and “me” below mean Quyen Bui. By using the site, you agree to them.
Estimates, not advice
GigTaxMath's calculators and pages are for general information only. The results are estimates based on the numbers you enter and on the assumptions listed on each page. They are not tax, legal or financial advice, and using the site does not create any professional relationship.
For advice about your own situation, consult a qualified professional such as a CPA, an enrolled agent or a tax attorney.
No warranty
I work to keep every figure accurate and linked to its official source, but I can't promise that the site is complete, error-free or up to date. Tax law and IRS figures change, sometimes during the year, and the site may not reflect a change right away.
The site is provided "as is", free of charge, without any warranty of any kind.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for your own tax returns, payments and decisions. Before you file or pay, check the numbers against official IRS instructions or with a professional.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage that results from using the site or relying on its results. That includes taxes, penalties or interest you owe, and any other direct or indirect loss.
Some places do not allow some of these limits. Where that is the case, they apply only as far as the law allows.
Trademarks
DoorDash, Uber and other company and product names mentioned on the site are trademarks of their owners. GigTaxMath is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Their names are used only to describe who a calculator is for.
Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, mostly irs.gov and ssa.gov. I don't control those sites and am not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
